Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Valid firearms permit preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and individuals in custody while following site procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeters, access points, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and movement, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation using security equipment.
