Champagne Beverage Co Inc is seeking a dependable Route Assistant to support our delivery operations across multiple routes and drivers. This floating position begins early, Monday through Friday, and will involve assisting with inspections, deliveries, and stocking at customer locations.

You will help with route navigation, merchandise placement, and safety procedures while remaining flexible to changes in daily assignments. This role requires physical stamina and a strong teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and willing to work on different routes and with different drivers as business needs dictate.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Support drivers with route navigation and deliveries.
• Help deliver, stock, rotate, and merchandise products at customer locations.
• Provide coverage on various routes as needed.
• This is a floating position; route assignments may change daily based on staffing and workload requirements.
• Safely handle products weighing 35-50 lbs regularly and up to 150 lbs occasionally.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck, trailer, and pallet jacks.
• Act as a spotter when drivers are backing up vehicles to ensure safe operation and prevent accidents.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
