Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a Distribution Supervisor in Concord, CA. The role leads daily route planning, driver coaching, and order processing to keep our logistics moving safely and efficiently.

You will work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure on-time deliveries and compliant operations. We offer a competitive compensation range, comprehensive benefits, and 30-day eligibility for benefits.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• 2-3 years in dispatch operations and direct supervisory/leadership roles.
• Ability to read and interpret critical documents, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Dynamic Dispatch & Routing: pull daily orders and build efficient routes with load sheets.
• Safety & Compliance Leadership: drive DOT documentation compliance and lead driver ride-alongs, uphold defensive driving standards.
• Driver Coaching & Support: act as first line of operational support for delivery drivers and resolve route challenges.
• Order & Inventory Tracking: process tickets, manage asset tracking (cylinder tracking), handle special delivery requests.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: partner with warehouse, production, and leadership to streamline fulfillment and delivery efficiency.
