Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations and service multiple accounts by merchandising approved products and packages, following planograms and quality guidelines.

This route will service Goldsboro, NC area with mileage reimbursement for travel between stores. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, strong communication, and the ability to work independently on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills to satisfy varied customer needs and expectations.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs.).
• Able to work reliably and independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products in cold vaults and on shelves per procedures and programs.
• Fills and merchandises coolers and displays on the sales floor.
• Organizes back room cooler and manages stock, returns and disposal of waste.
• Builds business relationships with store personnel through follow-ups and proactive communication.
