Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC in Omaha, NE seeks a route supervisor to oversee daily driver schedules and ensure service levels per contracts. You will monitor safety and performance, coordinate with Safety and HR for testing, and maintain DOT compliance documentation to keep operations running smoothly.

As a key member of the team, you will work with Dispatch, Operations, and HR to address customer needs, investigate incidents, and drive continuous improvements in route efficiency and service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Post-secondary education in business, computers, or office management.
• Experience in the waste industry with DOT regulated positions.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per contracts.
• Monitor service, safety and production of all drivers on the route.
• Manage driver time and attendance to ensure efficiency.
• Resolve issues with driver errors and missed pickups.
• Oversee driver compliance with regulatory agency and company training.
• Coordinate with Safety and HR for driver drug and alcohol testing and physical requirements.
• Investigate incidents and injuries and suggest areas of improvement and training.
• Maintain relationship with dispatch regarding customer service and foreseeable issues.
• Work with Operations and HR to resolve employee relations concerns.
• Maintain DOT compliance documentation.
• Audit daily driver documentation and data (time, attendance, service tickets, hours).
• Promote a union-free workplace where appropriate.
• Analyze routes daily and suggest improvements to operations management team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages daily route assignments to ensure all customers are properly serviced be contractual agreements
• Monitors service, safety and production of all drivers on the assigned route
• Manages driver time and attendance to ensure efficiency
• Responsible for resolving issues with Driver errors and missed customer pickups
• Oversees driver compliance with regulatory agency and company training
• Coordinates with Safety and HR teams for driver drug and alcohol testing and physical requirements
• Conducts appropriate investigations for all incidents and injuries appropriately suggesting areas of improvement and training
• Maintains a relationship with the dispatch team regarding customer service and any foreseeable issues
• Works with the Operational and HR teams to resolve any employee relation concerns
• Manages all appropriate documentation for the Department of Transportation compliance
• Manages and audits all daily driver documentation and data to include time and attendance, service tickets, and driver hours
• Promotes a union free workplace as appropriate
• Analyzes daily route and suggests areas of improvement to the Operation Management team

Job Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma
