Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Driver Helper in Middleburg Heights, OH to assist the driver with loading, unloading, and navigating routes. You will stage freight, operate pallet jacks or forklifts, and ensure accuracy of daily manifests in a fast-paced setting.

Key responsibilities include identifying damages, adhering to TSA/OSHA guidelines, and providing strong customer service while working with a team. Overtime may be required as workload dictates.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs unassisted and handle heavy freight safely.
• Ability to read a map and navigate routes to deliveries.
• Good customer service skills and clear communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from the truck as directed.
• Assist driver with loading, unloading, and route navigation.
• Sort, stage, and handle freight using pallets and equipment.
• Identify OS&D and report issues promptly.
• Follow TSA/OSHA guidelines and maintain a safe workspace.
• Overtime may be required to balance workloads.
