Job summary

Nexus Disposal, Llc is seeking a Route Helper in Houston, TX to support drivers with daily routes, directions, and service locations. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with drivers to navigate routes and ensure timely stops.

Work hours typically Monday–Friday 2:45am–3:00pm, with occasional Saturdays as needed. This position is on-site and offers medical/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k) with company match.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with directions and navigation throughout daily routes.
• Identify customer locations, service addresses, and scheduled stops.
• Communicate route updates, road closures, and delays to drivers.
• Assist with planning the most efficient routes when needed.
• Open and close gates to provide drivers with access to containers at service locations.
• Assist drivers with locating containers and ensuring access to designated service areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
