Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a friendly and hardworking Route Floater in Parkersburg, WV. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday with a 5am start, and involves loading, delivering and servicing client locations.

You will drive a company vehicle, maintain product quality, manage inventory and assist with on-site set-up and restocking. Excellent customer service and safe driving are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required) and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations.
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Fill in for Service Routes or Delivery Routes as needed.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.
