Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Route Floater, Full-Time to load, deliver, and service client locations with accuracy and a positive attitude. You will drive, load, unload, and stock products, monitor refrigeration, and maintain vehicle care while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license (CDL not required), ability to lift up to 50 lbs, DOT physical, and strong organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required).
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations.
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Fill in for Service Routes or Delivery Routes as needed.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.
