We’re looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy, people-friendly Route Field Service Technician who’s ready to work hard, solve problems, and help us deliver outstanding service to our partners.

As part of our close-knit team, you'll be out in the field, building relationships, fixing cool gear, and bringing joy to our customers every day. If you like variety, independence, and the pride of fixing things with your own hands, this might be your perfect next step.

Schedule: Wednesday & Thursday 9am–11pm, Friday 9am–12am, with weekend/holiday on-call rotation every 6 weeks.

What You’ll Do

• Install, repair, and maintain arcade games, dart boards, pool tables, jukeboxes, ATMs, and more.
• Respond to service calls at customer locations—no two days are the same!
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Install TVs, monitors, A/V systems, and sound setups.
• Handle money for collections and payouts at route locations.
• Keep ATMs filled and functioning properly.
• Represent Shaffer professionally—our techs are the face of the company on the ground.
  
  

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Hands-on skills: comfortable with tools like drills and screwdrivers.
• Experience fixing things—especially electronics, computers, or A/V gear.
• Great at troubleshooting and solving problems on the fly.
• Good with numbers—basic math and money handling required.
• Able to work independently and manage your own route and schedule.
• Flexible with work hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Physically capable: able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
• 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required for route access).
