Job summary

ABM is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer to support multiple client sites with 100% travel across California. The role focuses on maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The position pays at $36.50 per hour with weekly pay and a Monday–Friday shift. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, responding to emergencies, completing inspections, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mobile Building Engineer or similar role.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to travel 100% and work independently across sites.

Responsibilities

• Travel 100% between assigned buildings to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to emergency service calls and on-call requests.
• Complete inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure safe building operations.
• Document all work orders and PMs using CMMS.
• Coordinate with vendors and communicate with site contacts.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Pay:$36.50 hourly rate | Weekly pay

Shift: Monday - Friday | 8am - 4:30pm

Location: Covering San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County

The pay listed isthe hourly rate for this position.A specific offer will vary based onapplicant’sexperience, skills, abilities, geographic location,and alignment with market data.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 100%
• Strong time management and customer service skills
• EPA 608 and OSHA certifications preferred
