Job summary

Holiday Wholesale is seeking a reliable Route Driver to serve the Wausau, Tomahawk, or Rhinelander area, ensuring timely deliveries and safe handling of goods. You will load/unload, follow schedules, and maintain a well‑kept truck while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role suits independent workers with a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to changing environments. Route Drivers work Tuesday thru Friday, 10 to 12 hour days, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a route driver or in a similar position.
• Ability to operate a straight box truck.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to follow a schedule.
• Physical ability to lift heavy packages and move items as needed during deliveries.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned routes in a safe and timely manner ensuring delivery schedules are met.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring that they are secured and protected during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, invoices, and receipts for goods delivered.
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships and addressing any delivery-related concerns or questions.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents to management immediately for prompt resolution.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to maintain a safe driving record and ensure compliance.

*To recieve the attendance bonus, all scheduled shifts must be worked in a pay period.
