Job summary

Culligan is hiring a Route Driver to serve customers in the Auburn, WA area with occasional travel to local Culligan branches. The role involves delivering water products, maintaining routes, handling payments, and performing vehicle inspections.

Requirements include high school diploma, valid driver’s license, ability to use GPS, good math and communication skills. Overtime and DOT-related screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the city area you would be working in.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations utilizing a calculator.
• Ability to use GPS app on cell phone.
• Must have legible penmanship.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and management, and handle customer challenges.
• Maintain a good driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Subject to a DOT physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers and perform routine customer service tasks including order entry and identifying opportunities for additional Culligan products and services.
• Maintain routes and accounts for proper routing sequence; assist with collections and minimum delivery requirements.
• Responsible for vehicle inspections, including DVIR and monthly commercial vehicle inspections.
• Deliver/exchange all types of P/E tanks, bottled water, salt, chemicals and filters as required on routes.
• Collect and document receipt of money from customers and complete paperwork, including delivery tickets and route books.
• Operate carts, dollies, forklifts, lift gates, hand trucks and hand tools.
• May work overtime to finish the route.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety standards.
• Perform all duties in conformance with safety and security standards and wear required safety equipment.
