Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Route Driver in Greenville, SC to deliver products on an established route using a company vehicle. The role starts early and typically runs a 10-hour shift, with pay $23–$26 per hour and commission-based eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• 1–2 years customer service or 1 year related experience.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment.
• Able to work independently and unsupervised most of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed.
• Performs routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and other related equipment.
• Conducts minor service and adjustments on markets and reports defects when necessary.
• Prior to day’s route, ensure truck is loaded with all product to service markets.
• Informs regular clients of new products or services and resolves service complaints.
• Sets up merchandise and sales promotions or materials.
• Accountable for all receipts, invoices, delivery tickets, cash, and product.
• Conducts inventory reconciliation per district procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
