Job summary

Compass Group USA, through its Canteen division, is hiring for a full‑time Route Driver on a standard daytime route in Columbia, SC. The role delivers products to vending machines, maintains inventory, and provides top‑notch client service across assigned sites.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred 1–2 years in a customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Load truck with product and ensure proper stock for machines.
• Maintain inventory levels for vending machines and rotate stock for freshness.
• Assist with loading/unloading and hand-cart transfers to machines.
• Ensure machines are clean and operational; report issues to maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, receipts, and tickets.
• Communicate with clients about products and services; respond to inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
