Job summary

Compass Group USA''s Canteen division in Melville, NY is hiring a full-time Route Driver to service vending machines and offices on an established route. You will load, drive, and deliver products, maintain inventory, and ensure client satisfaction.

The role requires a valid driver''s license, 3 years of driving experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Prior route sales or merchandising and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid driver''s license.
• Preferred 1-2 years of customer service experience, or minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products on an established route and maintain inventory.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and distribute products for vending machines.
• Load and unload products, and stock vending machines.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness at client locations.
• Provide excellent client and customer service in all aspects of performance.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Report any defective equipment to maintenance or technician dispatch.
• Maintain accurate machine product data using handheld devices.
• Inform regular clients about new products or services.
• Address and help resolve client or customer issues promptly.
