Job summary

Compass Group USA seeks a Route Driver – Vending in Lenexa, KS to deliver on an established route, stock vending machines, and maintain client relationships. This face-of-the-company role offers growth potential and requires a valid Non-CDL Class C license and 3 years of driving experience.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work independently, and be comfortable with handheld devices. Full benefits and training are provided; some weekend hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Three years driving experience required.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license required.
• Preferred 1–2 years experience in a customer service role.
• Proficient with handheld computer; training provided.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Able to work independently, manage route, and work unsupervised most of the day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at client locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in all aspects of job performance.
• Inform regular clients of new products or services and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or distribute promotional materials.
• Be accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received, and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
