Healthcare Linen Services Group in Shelbyville, KY is seeking a Route Driver (Non CDL) to operate our company truck, deliver clean product to customers on schedule and collect soiled returns. You will load/unload laundry carts and build professional relationships with customers while representing the company in appearance and conduct.

This role requires safe operation, adherence to vehicle procedures, and flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day.
• Must have a clean driving record per company policy.
• Valid Class D driver’s license.
• Be available to drive nights and weekends.

TRANSPORTATION Full Time Hourly Direct Hires Shelbyville, KY, US

Salary: $21.00 Annually

PURPOSE: To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY: Operate company truck to deliver clean product to the customer in a timely manner and pick up soiled product from customer locations. Load and unload the trucks with laundry carts. Establish professional relationship with customers and provide quality customer service. Represent the company professionally in appearance, conduct, and performance while at customer locations. Safe operation of company vehicles, including pre and post route inspections. Follow standard vehicle operating procedures.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cross-train on other routes per department needs
• Perform equipment moves to service provider for repairs and service as needed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day
• Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling
• Valid Class D driver’s license
• Must have clean driving record per company policy
• Have six months to one-year experience
• Be available to drive nights and weekends
• Ability to speak and read the English language
• Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead
• Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs up to 10 hours per day
• Be able to use repetitive arm motions
