Job summary

Chadwell Supply is seeking a Route Driver to join our family-owned maintenance-supply team. The role involves operating a 16' box truck, delivering products to customers, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction while adhering to DOT regulations.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a 7:30 AM start and weekends off. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and opportunities for long-term career growth across our 30 branches.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift over 60 pounds.
• Minimum 1 year of Box Truck (16' minimum) or equivalent experience.
• DOT regulations knowledge and navigation proficiency.
• Time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates a box truck to transport products between facilities.
• Obeys all traffic laws and road conditions while driving.
• Delivers products to customers with prompt and accurate service.
• Conducts daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and DOT compliance.

Overview

Chadwell Supply is a successful family-owned maintenance supply company with 30 branches nationwide. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded individual to work as a Chadwell Supply Route Driver.

What you will need

• You must be 21years or older.
• You must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
• You must have a valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 1 year of priorBox Truck (16' minimum) or equivalent experience.
• DOT regulation knowledge and experience.

How you will make an impact

• Operates a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observes, obeys, and abides by all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions when operating any motorized vehicle.
• Strives to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
• Performs a daily inspection of the delivery vehicle, including all fluid levels, tire pressure, tire condition, and evaluating general roadworthiness to ensure the vehicle meets DOT requirements.
