Job summary

Canteen North America in Cerritos, CA seeks a Route Driver to operate a company vehicle on an established route delivering products and maintaining micro market equipment while delivering excellent service.

You will build strong customer relationships, work independently, and have opportunities for advancement. Requires clean driving record and ability to lift 50 lbs; training provided; non-CDL Class C license.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Preferred 1-2 years of customer service or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Valid non-CDL Class C driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Can work independently, responsible for route, work unsupervised 98% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Show a clear understanding of company policies and administer as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on markets. When necessary report defective equipment.
• Prior to each day’s route, ensure truck is loaded with all required product.
• Inform clients of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue materials to customers.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation per district procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre and post trip inspections.
• Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
