Canteen is seeking a full-time Route Driver – Micromarket in Phoenix to deliver products along an established route, maintain micro market equipment, and represent the company professionally to clients.

The role emphasizes inventory control, setup of displays, and dependable deliveries with a focus on safety and service, offering opportunities for advancement and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• 3 years of driving experience required.
• Preferred: 1–2 years’ experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Valid non‑CDL Class C driver’s license (unless otherwise indicated by state).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
• Ability or willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Able to work independently and be responsible for the route, working unsupervised 98% of the day.

We are hiring immediately for full‑time ROUTE DRIVER – MICROMARKET positions.

Location: Canteen – 2675 South 12th Place, Phoenix, AZ 85034. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full‑time. Wednesday through Saturday, or Sunday through Wednesday, early‑morning start. Further details upon interview.

Requirements: Previous merchandising, route driving, and customer service experience preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Pay: $21.00 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus available. Commission eligibility may apply.

Job Summary

The Route Driver drives a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products or render services and fills and maintains micro market and related equipment. The Route Driver is the face of the company and must project a professional and positive image of Canteen at all times while maintaining and building excellent client and customer relationships. This position offers advancement opportunities to entry‑level management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Display a clear understanding of company policies and administer them as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on markets. When necessary, report defective equipment to designated maintenance repair service operators or technician dispatcher.
• Prior to beginning each day’s route, ensure that the truck is properly loaded with all product required to service all scheduled markets following outlined operational procedures.
• Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Be accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, and cash collected.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with district procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
