Title: Route Driver/ Material Handler

Job Functions: Manufacturing/ Material handling/Driver

Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing

Location: Southside of Indianapolis, IN

Job Status: Full-Time/ Overtime Required

Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

Position Description: Route Driver has the primary responsibility to transport materials to and from vendors and move material throughout facilities.

Responsibilities:

· Transport equipment manufactured parts and tooling to Morris Machine facilities and applicable local/regional vendors.

·Must hold and maintain a valid For Hire Driver's License and DOT physical.

· Physically capable to carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

· Familiarity with DOT regulations are preferred.

· Ability to operate heavy equipment (i.e., Forklift)

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

· Basic math skills.

· Possess excellent communications skills.

· Superior customer service skills.

· Keep up to date/accurate daily trip logs

· Must be able to communicate with our Customers/Suppliers

· Documentation control (BOL’S, AIRBILL’S, PO’S)

· Operate forklift

· Prepare products prior to transport (wash & package)

· Record the necessary information to provide an accurate record of processing
