Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Wisconsin is seeking a Driver Helper Non Formula to assist Drivers in delivering products to customers on intrastate and interstate routes. You’ll help load, unload, and place items, ensuring accuracy and safety while representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities include assisting with timely deliveries, completing required documentation, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to 60-90 pounds, depending on location
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Schedule: Monday- Friday - Working 4-5 Days per week, 36+ Hours per weekLeave times vary from 1-5 AM 10-12 Hour Shifts .

Position Purpose :

Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company - building lasting relationships with our customers! As a Driver, Helper Non Formula, you will assist the Driver in every aspect of the product delivery to our customers.

The Driver Helper rides with and assist Drivers in the tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading various products in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
