Job summary

Holiday Wholesale is seeking a reliable Route Driver to serve the Hayward and Rice Lake area. You will ensure timely delivery, load and unload goods, and maintain vehicle safety and records.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work Tuesday through Friday, 10 to 12 hour days. You will build relationships with customers and help uphold our reputation for excellent service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a route driver or in a similar position.
• Ability to operate a straight box truck.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Physical ability to lift heavy packages during deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned routes in a safe and timely manner ensuring delivery schedules are met.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured and protected during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, invoices, and receipts for goods delivered.
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships and addressing any delivery-related concerns or questions.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents to management immediately for prompt resolution.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to maintain a safe driving record and ensure compliance.

To recieve the attendance bonus, all scheduled shifts must be worked in a pay period.
