Job summary

American Gas Products Inc. is seeking a Route Driver to safely deliver and pickup compressed gas cylinders from our Frederick, MD depot.

You will operate a company truck, load and unload cylinders, and ensure full compliance with safety regulations while representing AGPI with professionalism and strong communication. This role also emphasizes excellent customer service, accurate delivery documentation, and a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Driver's License with HAZMAT and tanker endorsements.
• No moving violations, DUI, or DWI convictions within past 7 years.
• Valid DOT medical certificate.
• MSDS reading ability and safety compliance.
• Able to drive up to 8 hours daily and work extended hours as needed.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver compressed gas cylinders to customers on a set route and schedule; return empty cylinders for refilling.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions on costs, orders, and delivery times.
• Maintain delivery documentation: load manifests, barcodes, FDA lot numbers, shipping records; reconcile documents.
