Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Route Driver in Elgin, IL. The position offers base pay plus commission on a full-time schedule with weekday morning shifts.

You will drive to deliver products, ensure vending and coffee service areas are stocked, and maintain reliable attendance on scheduled shifts. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, be at least 21 years old, and join a team focused on safety and customer service across the vending and office coffee

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Drive a vehicle that, based on weight, meets the Motor Carrier Act exemption from overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act on assigned route(s).
• Delivery product orders to customers to ensure continuous supply.
• Ensures customer areas are adequately stocked (vending machine, market, or coffee supplies).
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ by account and client requirements.
