Johnson Brothers of Indiana is seeking a CDL-B Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently deliver beverages to retail locations, restaurants, and hotels. You will operate a Class B vehicle, load and unload products, verify invoices, and maintain accurate records while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs. A customer-focused approach and reliable attendance are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class B CDL license.
• Previous Delivery Driving experience.
• A good driving record.
• Heavy repetitive lifting is involved, must be able to lift up to 65 lbs. repeatedly.
• Good knowledge of the surrounding area.
• Detail oriented.
• Self-motivated, work independently and self-managed to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles in accordance with regulations and safety standards.
• Deliver products to customer locations according to established routes and schedules.
• Load, unload, and transport products, including cases, kegs, and related merchandise.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report safety concerns.
• Verify delivery orders, invoices, and documentation for accuracy.
• Ensure products are delivered in excellent condition per customer requirements.
• Collect signatures and complete delivery paperwork, maintain records.
• Provide professional customer service during all interactions.
• Communicate status or issues with supervisors and team members.
• Follow safety procedures including proper lifting and unloading techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Assist with warehouse, inventory, and other duties as assigned.

Job Profile Summary

The CDL B Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of beverage products to retail stores, restaurants, bars, and other customer locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires operating a Class B commercial vehicle, or other company vehicle, in compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, as well as company safety standards. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading beverage products, inspecting vehicles before and after routes, verifying delivery invoices and documentation, and ensuring products are delivered in excellent condition. The ideal candidate possesses a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to build positive customer relationships. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the physical ability to lift, move, and deliver beverage cases, kegs, and related products throughout the workday.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and commercial team members regarding delivery status or issues.
• Follow all company safety procedures, including proper lifting, loading, and unloading techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Assist with warehouse, inventory, and other operational duties as assigned.
