Job summary

Johnson Brothers of Wisconsin is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of beverage products to retail stores, restaurants, bars, and other locations from its Milwaukee headquarters. You will load/unload products, inspect vehicles, verify invoices, and maintain accurate records while delivering exceptional customer service.

You must have a valid Class A CDL, a good driving record, and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid Class A CDL license.
  • Previous delivery driving experience.
  • A good driving record.
  • Heavy repetitive lifting up to 65 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Good knowledge of the surrounding area.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and self-manage to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company delivery vehicles in accordance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Deliver products to customer locations according to routes and schedules.
  • Load, unload, and transport products, including cases, kegs, and related merchandise.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Verify delivery orders, invoices, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure products are delivered in excellent condition and placed per customer requirements.
  • Collect signatures, complete delivery paperwork, and maintain records.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service during all interactions.
  • Communicate status or issues to supervisors and the team.
  • Follow safety procedures for lifting and loading/unloading.
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
  • Assist with warehouse, inventory, and other duties as assigned.

Pay: $27.00/hour plus incentive opportunities

Job Profile Summary

The CDL A Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of beverage products to retail stores, restaurants, bars, and other customer locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires operating a Class A commercial vehicle, or other company vehicle, in compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, as well as company safety standards. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading beverage products, inspecting vehicles before and after routes, verifying delivery invoices and documentation, and ensuring products are delivered in excellent condition. The ideal candidate possesses a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to build positive customer relationships. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the physical ability to lift, move, and deliver beverage cases, kegs, and related products throughout the workday.
