Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a motivated Route Driver for North New Jersey and surrounding areas. The role involves driving a company vehicle and performing cleaning tasks at assigned facilities to maintain appearance and sanitation, contributing to a positive experience for employees and visitors.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with overtime hours available (night shift and weekends). Pay rate is $18.00–$19.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License and a clean record required.
• Floor Tech and/or Janitorial experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
