Position Summary

The School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, following a regular daily route. This position ensures student safety, maintains order on the bus, and operates the vehicle in compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus along a designated route, following assigned schedules.
• Pick up and drop off students at designated locations in a timely and courteous manner.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain order and enforce bus safety rules among student passengers.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and transportation supervisors.
