Job summary

First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a Route Driver to join our Louisiana team. As the face of the company on each delivery, you will transport pre-ordered products and equipment to customer sites along an assigned route.

You’ll build rapport with decision-makers, ensure accurate deliveries, and upsell where possible. The position offers an hourly starting rate and a path to bonuses, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Past driving experience preferred.
• Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb in and out of delivery vehicle multiple times per day.

Responsibilities

• Load orders at warehouse for delivery to customers.
• Drive company-owned vans and trucks 30 to 100 miles daily to transport products and equipment.
• Deliver orders accurately to customer sites and place products in designated areas.
• Build rapport and maintain relationships with contacts and decision-makers at customer sites.
• Respond to inquiries about available products and services.
• Reconcile products remaining on delivery vehicle at end of day to identify losses.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with customers and the public.

What you’ll be doing – The Role

As a Route Driver, your role acts as the face of the company each time you make a delivery.

You safely and efficiently deliver pre-ordered products and equipment to customers along an assigned route and to sell additional products and services to customers when possible.

• Load orders at warehouse for delivery to customers.
• Drive company-owned vans and trucks 30 to 100 miles daily to transport products and equipment to customers.
• Accurately deliver orders to customer sites and place products and equipment in designated areas.
• Build rapport and maintain relationships with contacts and decision-makers at customer sites.
• Respond to inquiries from customers about available products and services.
• Reconcile products remaining on delivery vehicle at end of workday against products loaded onto vehicle for delivery at beginning of workday to identify any losses.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with customers and members of the public.

Requirements

What you’ll bring – The Person:

• Valid Driver’s License for at least 2 years
• Past driving experience preferred
• Repeatedly lift and carry coffee and bottled water products weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb in and out of delivery vehicle multiple times per day.
