Job summary

You will also communicate with dispatch and customers to confirm schedules, update on delays, and complete accurate delivery records for mileage and fuel usage. A clean driving record and attention to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Operate a delivery vehicle to transport parts to designated customer locations according to a pre-planned route.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured and handled with care; may require lifting up to 50 lbs. and/or use of equipment for heavier lifting, pulling, or pushing.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, sales team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to ensure safety and compliance.
