Job summary

The role requires self-motivation, the ability to work independently, excellent customer relations, and a clean driving record. You will drive a van or small truck, load/unload as needed, and ensure accurate documentation and payments while maintaining professional appearance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn route as assigned by the route manager.
• Deliver customer calls in 'specials' as directed.
• Have a thorough knowledge of the company's products, services, prices, policies and procedures.
• Maintain a low percentage of quits, redates, and credits on assigned route.
• Obtain signature for delivery verification for each delivery.
• Make sure all deliveries are complete and accurate while running a route.
• Download handhelds; complete invoices and work orders accurately and daily.
• Be responsible for company money, inventory, delivery vehicle, phone, handheld, and equipment.
• Maintain customer goodwill by showing courtesy toward all customers.
• Keep truck clean inside and out; maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record; maintain DOT certification as needed.
• No cell phone use while driving.
