Job summary

Driven Distribution Group in Illinois is seeking a Route Delivery Driver to safely operate company vehicles, deliver products to customer locations, and perform loading/unloading and basic warehouse tasks. You’ll ensure on-time, accurate deliveries while complying with safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, one year of route delivery experience, a valid driver’s license with clean MVR, and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of route delivery or transportation experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and professionally at all times.
• Deliver products to specified locations in a timely manner.
• Unloads and stacks products with customers in a friendly courteous manner.
• Complete delivery paperwork and submit required documentation promptly.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle and work area.
• Assist with general warehouse functions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and DOT regulations.
• Remain attentive and alert to operate in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.
