Job summary

Winebow is seeking a delivery driver in New Jersey to operate company trucks for shipping, delivery, and pickup of products. You will perform pre/post-trip maintenance, complete paperwork, and provide outstanding customer service while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a valid CDL-B, a DOT medical card, at least one year of driving experience, and the ability to work overtime. Benefits include a comprehensive package and a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL-B license required in NJ/NY/IL.
• Valid and unexpired DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum of one year experience as truck driver.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
• Deliver and pickup Winebow's products.
• Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation maintenance and reports.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Report variances/discrepancies to local dispatcher.
• Operate all material handling equipment (MHE).
• Maintain required certifications per DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs.
• Protect and maintain all property entrusted to you in excellent condition.
• Arrive on time to work, meetings, and other work-related functions.
• Meet agreed goals and objectives promptly and effectively.
• Able to work more than 40 hours per week.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Follows all safety policies and procedures; communicate hazards and/or suggest improvements to Manager
• Other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Prolonged sitting, driving, ability to work in severe weather conditions; both heat and cold, constant travel by automobile

EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USED:

Driver; Pallet jack, forklift, hand truck, office equipment (including computer/tablet, printer, photocopier etc.), telephone

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Manual dexterity, visual acuity, reaching, bending, and lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License. CDL-B required in NJ/NY/IL
• Valid and unexpired DOT Medical Card
• Minimum of one-year experience as truck driver
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times

The salary range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00 (rate will be dependent on CDL license) per hour. If you are hired at Winebow, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience.
