Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. seeks drivers to run daily routes, loading and unloading at stops, in a customer-facing role. Routes are designated by the Transportation Department Manager and performed away from the operating company location.

The driver assists with loading, cross-dock tasks, and may help with palletizing and other duties as needed. Compliance with DOT rules and safety procedures is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year route delivery experience preferred.
• Valid CDL Class B (Class A preferred) for driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with DOT regulations.
