Job Title: Route Delivery Driver

UP TO A $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS BASED ON ELIGIBILITY

Minimum starting pay: $52,000/year

Job Summary / General Description: In the Route Delivery Driver position, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely distribution of grocery/food items, specialty products, and supplies to various customer locations. Based out of our Louisa, KY warehouse, you will be a vital part of our team that has been servicing customers and delivering fine foods since 1942.

Sign-On Bonus Details:

$10,000 bonus: Eligibility requires at least three years of Class A CDL driving experience and no major reportable accidents or traffic offenses.
$5,000 bonus: For drivers with less than three years of Class A CDL experience.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Drive tractor-trailer and perform product deliveries along assigned routes to ensure customer satisfaction.
2. Comply with Federal and State Laws, including DOT regulations.
3. Maintain accuracy and condition of delivered products, avoiding damage.
4. Communicate issues promptly to the Transportation Supervisor.
5. Inspect tractor-trailer for defects before and after trips.
6. Drive safely, adhering to commercial driving regulations and maneuvering the vehicle properly.
7. Maintain electronic logs as per DOT regulations.
8. Follow instructions from the supervisor via telephone.
9. Adhere to transportation, safety, and company policies.
10. Present a professional appearance and conduct.
11. Complete administrative tasks efficiently.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
2. Minimum age: 21 years.
3. Valid CDL Class A License.
4. Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and other essential functions.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Ability to learn and use new software applications.
7. Basic math skills.

10. Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Working Conditions:

1. Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions.
