Job summary

Canteen, part of Compass Group, is hiring a full-time Route Driver on a Madison, WI campus. The role requires driving a company vehicle on an established route to deliver products and maintain inventory at client locations.

The position offers a fixed pay rate of $25.00 per hour, with a commission minimum guarantee of $1,000 per week, plus uniform reimbursement and a $100 safety shoes allowance. Prior driving experience and a valid license are required, with ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle on established route to deliver products and maintain inventory.
• Maintain proper inventory levels for vending machines.
• Load machines and ensure proper stocking and product rotation.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in all aspects of job performance.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate machine product and inventory data via handheld computer.
• Inform regular clients of new products or services.
• Resolve service complaints with supervisor guidance.
