Starting Salary: $49,500

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate vehicle in accordance with all State and Federal regulations safely, considering weather and road conditions.
2. Complete pre/post-trip inspection sheets for each vehicle and notify the DC Operations Manager of discrepancies.
3. Check load conditions and secure loads using approved load-locks and tools to prevent product breakage and vehicle damage.
4. Maintain the security of the load by ensuring the truck bay is locked when away from the vehicle.
5. Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean at the end of each shift.
6. Handle, deliver, and work with all products ordered by customers.
7. Deliver products according to invoices and customer requirements, ensuring timely deliveries.
8. Use electronic devices provided by the Company to record start and stop times accurately, ensuring hours of service are in compliance with DOT Regulations.
9. Provide input on routes, including time windows and stop order, through proper channels.
10. Ensure all delivered invoices are signed, paperwork is in stop-order sequence, invoices are matched, and route sheets are properly marked.
11. Collect payments based on established terms and Tennessee state laws.
12. Communicate shortages, overages, and return items to the Distribution Center as necessary.
13. Resolve customer issues when possible or communicate them to the Company for resolution.
14. Follow proper deposit procedures when depositing collected funds.
15. Complete training assignments timely, including Worklete and Pro-Tread.
16. Perform duties effectively while monitored via DriveCam.
17. Immediately report changes to driver license status or citations to the DC Operations Manager.
18. Wear work uniform properly and maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance.
19. Maintain a positive attitude and good work habits.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• TN ABC Wholesaler's Employee Permit
• Current DOT Medical Card

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver License with F Endorsement
