Job summary

Canteen, part of Compass Group USA, seeks a Route Coordinator (Associate Care Attendant) in Gainesville, FL. You will be the initial contact for route drivers, handling requests and coordinating with staff to implement solutions.

You will assist drivers with vehicle issues, inventories, and communications, supporting management in driver accountability and operations.

• Ensure trucks are clean and have required supplies.

Job Summary:

The Associate Care Center Attendant will be the initial point of contact for our route drivers. This individual will be responsible for intaking and organizing driver requests and communicating with staff members to execute solutions.

This position will assist drivers with requests and tasks such as vehicle issues, truck inventories, and communication between staff members. Our care center attendant will assist management staff with driver responsibility and accountability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet every driver who stops at the desk and builds positive working relationships
• Verify that drivers are completing and returning daily reports, and recording necessary information
• Update drivers with status updates regarding their service tickets for routes and their trucks
• Ensure drivers are completing inventories and returning totes and other items to their designated areas
• Inform drivers of new installations, removals, and other important information
• Ensure the trucks are clean and drivers have required cleaning supplies on the truck

Qualifications:

• Strong internal and external communicator
• Has led drivers and/or teams in transportation or logistics environments
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook and Excel)
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Conflict resolution skills
• Highly organized
