Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Support Merchandiser to service a network of retail locations across Aberdeen, NC and nearby towns. You will display greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, and related products while keeping backrooms organized and inventories up to date.

This role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and a 401(k) with company match. Pay increases occur after 6 months and after 1 year of employment, with a starting rate of $11.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising is preferred.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
• Flexibility to work around major holidays and varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandize and organize product orders, display products in greeting card departments, and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate questions or concerns to management regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with store staff and management during daytime hours.
• Available for additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work or product relocation as needed.
• Review weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
