Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a Pest Control Technician to operate on the road around Santa Fe, NM, reporting weekly to the Rio Rancho office. This full-time role offers an opportunity to work in a team environment while delivering tailored pest solutions.

You will manage daily routes, maintain equipment, document treatments, and follow state and federal regulations. No experience is required as paid training is provided, with a path to advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided
• US driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 in the past 4 years)
• Drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient pest solution
• Maintain and service all route customers per company standards
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of problems on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in use
• Assigned route in local area
• Carry a product backpack weighing ~50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday
