Job summary

Serendipity Wines LLC in San Antonio is seeking a Sales Assistant and Merchandiser to serve as the link between wholesalers, buyers, and the sales floor, ensuring the right stock is on display to maximize sales.

You will collaborate with buying and store operations, monitor stock, rotate displays, and assist customers with product availability and paperwork as needed. This is a hybrid, hourly role with commissions based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years’ merchandising or retail experience.
• Must possess a dependable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a working cellular phone.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow stores within designated route.
• Collaborate with customers to create attractive sales floor displays and ensure prominent product display.
• Serve as liaison between customers and company to address issues and resolve problems.
• Assist customers in organizing back stock for easier product access.
• Fill and rotate all product in the cold boxes.
• Learn product knowledge to hand-sell effectively.
• Provide sales support by overseeing shelf space and communicating with sales reps about buyer preferences and stock concerns.
• Stay aware of market conditions and identify opportunities to increase coverage in accounts.
• This is an hourly position + commissions based on industry experience.
