Job summary

Silver Eagle Distributors Houston, LLC is seeking a Route Assistant to support drivers on local beer delivery routes. This entry role provides training toward CDL-A and future leadership opportunities within the company.

You will assist with inventory, product placement, and account transactions while upholding safety and corporate standards to gain on-the-road and warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of general work experience preferred; grocery store/CPG experience a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Class A CDL.
• Must be able to lift 25–40 lbs frequently and handle 161 lb kegs.
• Must hold a valid US Driver’s license and Texas Driver’s license; driving record per MVR policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist Driver in delivering and counting inventory on the truck and at accounts.
• Review pick sheets, pull products, and assist with dolly loading and unloading.
• Help with account transactions and end-of-day settlement procedures as needed.
• Maintain merchandising standards and restock to avoid out-of-stock situations.
• Ensure backrooms and shelves are orderly and provide courteous service to retailers.
