Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking Roustabouts to join their Odessa, Texas operations. You will assemble, install, and test oil and gas process skids, working with mechanical and instrumentation components while following strict safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a mechanical aptitude, experience reading engineering drawings, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This on-site role offers hands-on work in a leading energy infrastructure company environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, skid fabrication, or oil and gas equipment assembly preferred.
• Experience with pumps, valves, gauges, pressure regulators, tubing, fittings, and basic instrumentation.
• Familiarity with piping components and assembly practices.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and torque tools safely.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and test oil and gas process skids per engineering documentation.
• Ensure high-quality assemblies and adherence to safety protocols.
• Interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and related documents.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to complete tasks.
