Job Impulse, Inc. is assisting with the search for a Roundsling Operator in Simpsonville. The role involves manually feeding a fabric sleeve onto a machine, prepping it for material looping, taping the end, and cutting to length.

Safety and accuracy are essential, and Spanish/English bilingual ability is required. Two shifts are available: 1st shift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm at $15/hr, and 2nd shift 3:00 pm - 10:30 pm at $16/hr.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Feed fabric sleeve onto machine and prep for looping.
• Tape end of material and cut to length.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Roundsling Operator in Simpsonville. Our client Manufactures High Quality Lifting Slings. The Roundsling Operator is responsible for manually feeding a fabric sleeve onto the machine prepping it to have material looped into the sleeve. Once complete, the operator tapes the end of the material and cuts it to appropriate length. Must pay close attention to detail and safety. Must speak Spanish or be bilingual (Spanish/English) for this position.

Two Available Shifts:

1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 6:00 am - 2:30 pm | $15/hr

2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 3 pm - 10:30 pm | $16/hr

Responsibilities of a Roundsling Fabricator involves:

Operating machinery, safely setting up, operating, and maintaining specialized industrial machinery to wind, assemble, and construct polyester or high-performance fiber roundslings.

Additional duties:

• Effectively and safely operate and maintain the assigned cutting tools and all related equipment to ensure all daily orders are met


• Read and follow standard production orders


• Follow all standard work processes


• Verify proper components before beginning a job


• Monitor product and process to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded


• Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and legibly


• Maintain reliable attendance including overtime if needed


• Maintain a clean work environment


• Follow established procedures, policies and practices to produce safe quality products that meet industry and company standards


• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of company systems and processes


• Must be able to read a tape measure along with basic math skills


• Effective written communication skills, including legibility


• Must have a strong attention to detail


• Must be self-motivated

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
