Job summary

House Rx in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge, onsite, to support specialty clinics and oversee daily operations with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and program integrity.

The role requires a PharmD, TX licensure, PIC eligibility, leadership, and collaboration with providers to optimize formulary access and patient care, including prior authorizations and medication access support.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree and TX pharmacist license in good standing.
• PIC experience preferred; eligible for PIC role.
• Experience with specialty medications and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and Board/DEA standards.
• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge with licensure oversight and inspections.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations for safe dispensing and protocols.
• Maintain policies for prescription processing and drug storage.
• Lead audits and coordinate responses for regulators.
• Supervise pharmacists, technicians, and staff.
• Collaborate with clinics to optimize formulary and access.
• Investigate medication incidents and document QA improvements.
• Manage inventory, recalls, and temperature-sensitive drugs.
• Support strategic growth and value-based care initiatives.
• Provide clinical expertise for patient counseling and prior authorizations.
