Job summary

House Rx, Inc. seeks a Clinical Pharmacist with specialty experience to serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at our Round Rock, TX site. This onsite role partners with specialty clinics to optimize patient outcomes and access to specialty medications.

The successful candidate will lead regulatory compliance, supervise staff, coordinate audits, and collaborate with providers to support formulary optimization and patient care. Doctor of Pharmacy with Texas license and PIC eligibility required.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent; active Texas pharmacist license
• PIC eligibility in Texas
• Leadership experience in a pharmacy setting
• Experience coordinating regulatory inspections
• Excellent collaboration with care teams

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all territory, state and federal pharmacy laws, Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA, and all other standards.
• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge with licensure oversight and regulatory inspections.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure accurate dispensing and patient safety.
• Maintain policies for prescription processing, drug storage, and security.
• Lead audits and coordinate responses for regulatory bodies and accrediting organizations.
• Supervise pharmacists, technicians, and staff to ensure quality standards and education compliance.
• Collaborate with providers to support formulary optimization and medication access.
• Investigate and resolve medication incidents with proper documentation.
• Manage inventory, including temperature-sensitive drugs and recalls.
• Participate in strategic planning for pharmacy growth and care initiatives.
• Act as clinical expert for patient counseling, substitutions, and prior authorizations.
• Be the workflow expert from prescription receipt to dispensation.
