Job summary

Continental Drilling & Service in Shreveport, LA seeks a Roughneck to support drilling crew operations on the rig and at the yard. You will assist with drilling, maintenance, tripping pipe, and running casing while maintaining safety standards.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 100 pounds, work outdoors, and communicate clearly with supervision to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

• Constantly communicate with supervision on issues, changes, and specific needs for executing assigned tasks
• Ensure compliance of company policies and standards are always followed
• Ensure facility and work is executed to the highest standard and is done safely and compliantly

We are actively seeking a Roughneck at Continental Drilling & Service located in Shreveport, Louisiana that would be responsible for assisting drilling crew members with day-to-day operations on the drilling rig, as well as working at the yard to ensure everything is clean and organized. Job duties are as described below:

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• The noise level is usually moderate to high
• Occasionally working outdoors in elements/weather
• Overnight travel will be minimal under normal operational conditions.
