Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; substitution with 15 years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years of proven project management experience in rough carpentry (commercial/residential).
• Strong knowledge of rough carpentry methods and applicable building codes.
• Wood framing background required.
• Field experience is a plus.
• Management experience and ability to run a department is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee multiple commercial rough carpentry projects concurrently, ensuring schedules, budgets, pricing, manpower evaluation, change orders, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating activities across teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure safety and code compliance.
• Communicate with clients, architects, and engineers to provide updates and address concerns.
• Review and approve invoices and change orders, ensuring contract terms are met and costs controlled.
